Every Monday Night, 9 pm Gay Bowling at Holiday Lanes in Lansing. You have to see it to believe it.
Wednesday, March 9 8-11 pm Michigan Pride Drag Show, Chrome Cat, Lansing
Sunday, April 10 12-3 Michigan Pride Brunch, Lansing Radisson Hotel Buy Tickets
Friday, June 10 10 am -6 pm Festival Set up
8-10 pm VIP Reception for members of Michigan Pride in the Tent
9 pm-2am White Party
Saturday, June 11 11am March
12 Noon Rally
1:30 pm Commitment Ceremony
12-7 Festival
Sunday, June 12 10 am - 3 pm Champagne Disco Brunch in the Tent and Old Town Clean Up
As you can imagine, we're going to need a lot of volunteers to coordinate this event. We will have crews for set up, tear down, clean up, information, driving, counting attendees, security,decorating, and countless other tasks. Due to some unfortunate personnel issues last year (we never did find the golf cart) we are going to be a lot more careful about who we assign responsibilities to this year. Please fill out the volunteer form under the "forms" tab and we'll have the volunteer coordinator contact you.
Of course, we need money as well. If you don't want to be hassled by giving your time to Michigan Pride, please consider becoming a member. Michigan Pride offers three membership tiers. For $100 a Century Club membership gets you advance notice of all events and official recognition as a significant supporter of Michigan Pride. Business Membership is $50. We'll put your business on our web site and send you a sticker to show your support. Individual memberships are $20. Of course we will maintain our list in the strictest confidence never selling or sharing it for any reason.
