  • Lansing Pride Parade and Festival

    June 30, 2007
    12:00 pm to 7:00 pm

    The 2007 Michigan Pride Festival
    Lansing’s Riverfront Park

On June 30, 2007 more than 15,000 supporters of LGBT Civil Rights will March to Michigan’s Capitol steps to draw attention to the urgent needs of this often-attacked and overlooked community.

More of a Civil Rights March than a “parade,” the March is a symbolic, empowering and fun aspect of the Pride weekend. Patrick Lombardi (LAAN) will be leading off the March as Grand Marshall.

At the March staging area, Riverfront Park, groups will gather behind banners representing regions throughout the great lakes state. Groups, organizations, companies and others are all welcome to participate in the March.

The festival runs from 11am - 7pm. The parade will begin at noon.
